Required Reading

Before joining your first cohort, you must read "The 12 Week Year Field Guide" (Amazon link). This book is essential for several reasons:

• It helps you understand the program's structure and expectations
• It allows you to assess if the program aligns with your goals and readiness
• It serves as a textbook throughout your first 12-week cohort
• It provides guidance for practicing the 5 core disciplines: visioning, planning, scorekeeping, process control, and time use

Application Process

After finishing the book, if you decide the method is a good fit, you should submit an application. We form preliminary groups towards the end of the previous 12-week year, considering your schedule availability for weekly accountability meetings (WAMs)

Dedication Deposit

First-time participants are required to send a $60 refundable deposit. This deposit serves several purposes:

• It demonstrates your commitment to the program and your goals
• It ensures fairness to other participants who are counting on your consistent participation
• It covers administrative costs

The deposit is fully refundable if you attend all 12 WAMs on time. You can also withdraw before the 3rd week to get your deposit back.

This process helps ensure that all participants are well-prepared, committed, and ready to support each other throughout the 12-week journey.
